Hi hope everyone is well

Just a question, my shoulder is herding badly and it goes to the end of my fingers, my hands are swollen which I have ra in them. It not my heart. I could bend my arm back or lift much. Can anyone tell me

We are all so different but last year my shoulders to finger tips were a huge issue. All you can do is really tell your RA team and see if they can advise you or medicine changes. I found it to be very draining as could not lift a mug to my mouth or do any task without pain. It took 3months before it went away and had something else happen. However it could be a sign of a flare too.

Some good advice from Deeb. I too would say it's best to contact your RD team, as they may be able to suggest something either med wise or if there is a therapeutic way such as in physiotherapy that may be able to help with this. Hope things start to improve for you. Take care.

Hi Pamakh,

When you say it goes to the end of your fingers, is it pain or tingling?

I’ve just been diagnosed with a trapped nerve in my upper spine (Cervical Radiculopathy) and that causes pain down my arm and tingling in the fingers. Better get it checked out with your Rhumatology Doctor. Stay well 🤗X

Its painful at my fingers. My Dad has had a trapped nerve on his upper spine and had a operation. Yes I will ring RA. Thanks

Thanks everyone

Been on to Doctor this morning and they said ring RA so I rang and the nurse is having me in on Thursday to have a look and probably have a injection. We will wait and see.x
