Hello. Still awaiting final final results. New to r.a. not new to illness.

It's kinda good to have an idea. Now I can focus my efforts in eating to get my inflammation down.

Thanks for the reply. Right now it's summerand all I want to do is drink and eat and socialize. In three weeks I'm going to clean up my act. But not yet. Right now I want to enjoy the sun and swim in lakes and drink my cocktails and eat camping food!

Yup. But we have to live while we can, right!

In the fall we will be angels and eat only good foods😇

sounds like my life before I cleaned up my act...food/ drink makes ALL the difference! My pain is virtually gone now...this is how I did it...I'm eating NO processed food ...no sugar, no alcohol...(well....at least waiting several days before having a drink or two), no gluten, no soy and no dairy. I'm also spicing my homemade REAL broth/ veggie soups (no bad salt , msg etc) with tumeric and take a tumeric capsule. To replace the bad salt that I'm no longer consuming from processed food I'm using just a wee bit of unprocessed Himalayan salt...I'm eating small amounts of meat with lots of greens and snacking on homemade air popcorn spiced with a bit of olive oil, italian herbs, pepper, garlic POWDER , a bit of salt...YUM!! I've also found some yummy plantein chips that are very filling and curb the snack desire! Instead of beer (gluten) I opt for non wheat vodka on the rocks with lime and pure water ...If I'm craving pasta I use rice noodles or shirataki miracle noodles...or make zucchini noodles (zoodles) It's really not so bad considering my aches and pains are gone after just a week of doing all this!!. I saw the difference immediately :))

haha...I have too much baggage..two little ones I've adopted at almost 58..my other kids are 21-37..yes i'm crazy..so I've gotta be tip top health! My 21 yo is doing food prep as a mother's helper for a lady so I think there is a niche in that market for work...she goes a few times a week for 4 hours each. It IS time consuming doing all the food prep and research but I'm glad I did/am..I had pain just like yours..also hashimotos recent diagnoisis ..hoping diet cures that ALSO!
