Does cimzia cause weight gain

I don’t know about this particular drug but I’ve gained weight on methotrexate and entanercept 🤬

I am on CIMZIA for seven years now and haven't noticed weight gain because of it. Crisps and chips, Yes. You best look at the leaflet on NRAS, they have a bit more information. I hope CIMZIA will work as well for you as it did for me.

I think it does - I've put on about 2 stones since starting cimzia but my weight is stable now. I was very underweight before so I'm still at a healthy weight for my height thank goodness! Could also be a bit of middle age spread tho!!

Ive put weight on over the years but prob due to age and a love of sweet things!I lost quite a lot before I started cimzia and my RA was bad, and I had problems with stress at work.I did start to put it on again as my health improved but I think that just coincided with starting the cimzia.
