Missing nature?

Good morning everyone. At this time of year my family and I are usually visiting NGS gardens and getting great ideas for our own gardens as well as visiting much bigger and nicer gardens than our own. It is also, more importantly, a time when lots of money is raised for several medical charities. In total about £3,000,000 was raised last year. Marie Curie and Macmillan nurses shared £1,000,000. Other charities benefiting were Parkinson's, Carer's Trust and Mind amongst others. If you would like to view some of the gardens this year, you can go on the NGS site, there are many giving virtual tours and they are lovely to see. They will be showing them throughout spring and summer. There is no obligation to donate although the facility is available. It is a totally free site. Watch and enjoy, keeping safe as you do. x

Thank you for this, we don't have many gardens open around us but I enjoy getting the booklet and have visited quite a few over the years, RA makes it more complicated. I will look at the NGS site. glad you gave me the idea.

I would echo that - I've been enjoying looking at other people's gardens on the NGS site. But I miss the cake and coffee that I usually have while I'm visiting NGS gardens! Impossible to replicate that feeling of being spoiled by someone else's home made cake.
