I took some photos on my garden today - colours of the rainbow. Happy Saturday...it is Saturday isn't it? 😁

That’s is lovely. Very cheering indeed. Thank heavens for gardens for those of us who are lucky enough to have them.

Glad we’re not the only ones who have to ask each other what day of the week it is. I keep thinking if I had to do one of those tests that the elderly have to do like What day is it? What date is it? What month is it? Who is the PM? What is your name? Etc I would fail miserably at the moment!

Enjoy your garden 🌷

My mum’s nickname was Moomin! All the family, including French and Spanish in-laws, called her that. My nieces loved buying her presents from The Moomin Shop in Covent Garden. It was a name that evolved and then stuck as she didn’t like “Mum” or any of the grandmother terms. Great to know there’s another “Moomin” out there! Beautiful photos by the way. xx

Hi ClaireJG🙂What a lovely nickname! I just live Moomin and all the characters in the Moomin stories. I was lucky to have visited Helsinki in Finland a couple of years back - such an amazing place! I have some prints and nik-naks from there and from other close-by Baltic countries who also love Moomin. I even went to a Moomin Cafe in Copenhagen, Denmark 😍- I was in my element!

How fantastic to find another Moomin lover! I was delighted to find a Moomin tee-shirt in a tiny shop in York and also Primark did them for a while. My half-French niece grew up thinking her Moomin was the only one in the world until she discovered the Moomins and now loves the stories. She bought coasters, pens and other bits and pieces in the shop. My mum and I visited the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen and found lost of "Moomin" merchandise, so we were also in our element! We would have loved to have visited the Moomin café :-) xx

We went to Tivoli Gardens too! My son, who hates heights braved that very tall rotating swing! 😱

Noooooo!!! Terrifying!!! I remember that swing. My mum and I kept our feet firmly on the ground! Huge respect to your son for braving it, despite his fear of heights. There'll be no stopping him now. xx
