The letter should tell you to show it to your employer, and it is proof that you should not be at work. The gov’t has put in place arrangement so that employers can claim money to pay you “on furlough”.

Not seen this before and in Wales so not sure it counts for me but still much more information I have found.

Make a post of it so more people can be in the know,Stay safe all.

It’s good, isn’t it? Just what we all need.It counts for everyone.

Others shared it before I did. There have been several posts with either a link or a pic of the chart. The link is better.. easier to follow the chart.

With the letter you don’t need to fet a fit note...

The letter enables you to get the fit note so you can get statutory sick pay . My employers wanted one

To quote “This letter is evidence, for your employer, to show that you cannot work outside the home. You do not need to get a fit note from your GP. If you need help from the benefit system visit gov.uk/universal-credit.”

But maybe your letter was different, as it seems there is no one system which is making life even more confusing!

My occupational health says I will receive statutory sick pay but so far I haven't been paid anything. I only received my letter yesterday though but I've been off work for almost 2 weeks now.
