Great what a reply

I love the things kids say often you can see the brain working. One day at school I was sitting on the floor with my group and was struggling to get up. One little boy tried to lift me 😁 when eventually I got up I said thank you goodness I’m getting old. He piped up that’s ok miss your not old enough to die .I’m 52 😂🥺😂

I also love the things that children say and used to be a nursery teacher so heard a lot of funny things. My son was also a source of amusement when he was little.

One of my favourites came from a young cousin of mine. Back in the 1960's his mum was having a baby at home and Stephen (aged 2) kept saying that he wanted his dinner. The midwife said to him "What time do you have your dinner normally?" He replied "My name's not normally, it's Stephen."

Perhaps we should set up a site to list the funny thing that children say to give us all a smile.
