The gov.U.K. Website states additional guidance will be provided for the clinically extremely vulnerable under the Tier 3 rules. So hopefully you won’t be confused for much longer. 🤞🏻

Hi, the new shielding information reg. tiers is up. It is now up to us to check if our places of work are Covid secured. I work in a primary school so not a chance of distancing and other measures. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Good luck everyone. Find the link below: gov.uk/government/publicati...

I know how you feel. I work in a special needs school so no distancing! I’ve just seen my nurse because I’m having a flare and she’s put me on steroids, a higher dose of methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine and I’m over 60. I shouldn’t be in school but off to work I go!!

Have you asked your rheumy nurse/clinic about this? When mine offered me a steroid injection, they were clear that if I had it I would have to shield for 12 weeks so the steroids might give you a reason not to go into work.

I have a phone appointment with my doctor this afternoon so will find out. Thanks for the advice

It’s horrible when I think if they hadn’t changed women’s age to retire I would of finished work 5 yrs ago definitely as I work in a warehouse lifting heavy manual work it’s very difficult ok if I worked in a bank or cake shop 😩😩

It is all rather worrying isn’t it about what will happen next Wednesday. It would have been better for us and our employers for clearly guidance. It will work okay for people with supportive employers but not at all for those who don’t. It makes no sense to me at all as it is clear that the risk of COVID is as high as ever but not the support available now? 🤷‍♀️. Thinking of you. Gail x

Never felt I've had any support. I can't live off ssp so I've worked throughout. 😒

your employer has a duty of care surely to make sure your workplace is covid safe, mine are very supportive and keep me as safe as possible. I, too, had my letter a bit late so was working for few days before having to shield. last lockdown my gov letter was 3 weeks late!!! good luck
