A moment of writing trying to get back into it after years of not (sorry if spelling or painful read) Off topic

Take a moment and take a deep breath

Go outside to your garden and breathe

Be aware of your body but also your mind

Breathe, deep breath of calm.

Take a moment and think of good memories

Go outside of day to day and breathe

Be aware of what has been and what made you smile

Breathe, deep breath of calm.

Take a moment and think of your loves

Go outside in your mind to happy times

Be aware of all loved and lost with fondness

Breathe, deep breath of calm.

Take a moment and listen for silence

Go outside at night listen for silence

Be aware of stars and sky colours

Breathe, deep breath of calm.

Take a moment in the madness for you.

Breathe, deep breath of calm.

Thanks Deeb, mindfulness and meditation and mantras are so helpful. I always remember my meditation teacher saying in her guided meditation that when we think of happy memories, times, events etc. they are ours to keep and we can always revisit them any time we want or need to and she was right. So thank you for sharing this with us. x

I also like to listen to incantations. Om Mani Padme Hum on Tibetan Incantations also have beautiful oriental musical instruments playing, very relaxing.

It's three tracks on a CD, first and last are Om Mani Padme Hum but very different versions but the second one is Mantra of Avalokiteshvara. They're all very good but the first one is beautiful, my favourite.

I do a lot of this too it is good to have a simple mantra and a positive one!

Very calming x
