I have one on Tuesday & received a call from my Nurse who takes my bloods today. Basically a screening call just to check I have no symptoms, went through the list & I have none so shall see her on Tuesday, that is unless I fall ill in the meantime when I’ll ring her to let her know. So maybe you'll have the same a few days before your next bloods.

I have a Rheumy appointment next Friday, not had any notification not to attend as yet so intend to keep it.

Just had a voicemail from the hospital, saying I’m high risk so not to attend. I'll have a telephone consultation but didn't say when so I presume around the same time that my appointment would have been.

Update... text message received tonight says I will have a Zoom video consultation.

My Rheumy appointment has been cancelled, having a Zoom video consultation instead. Blood test still stands.

Your blood test results will go to your GP as normal & whoever at the practice checks them will do so & if there are any problems they will contact you,

My next appointment is 30th.I am normally weekly but moved to 2wks cos of crisis. I asked what measures were being put in place when have to isolate due to poor immune due to health n meds.she said they had talked about nurses coming into community but wasnt sure how it would work.so now I am isolating I await instructions

They were only seeing emergency patients n doing bandages and bloods when I went on monday

I still had to go to have mine done at my local surgery. They were very insistent that I go.

The arrangements at my surgery is that the appointment for the blood test is made and that morning I will be contacted by the surgery and a check list of questions gone through. Then I go to the surgery and check in on the screen which is cleaned between each check in. Chairs are placed at intervals separately. Have blood test, use spray, and go home, wash hands and face and change my clothes.

I went yesterday to have mine done. They asked if it was urgent first, I said I considered it to be.

Normal nurse wasnt there. I don't think the person who did my bloods had ever done it before. There was literally blood everywhere. On me, on her, on the floor.

I'm not going back in a hurry. 😣

I rang mine two days ago as I am due for bloods on 27th. She said they were still doing the MTX bloods. I was told that the outer door to the Health Centre would be open but the inner door would be closed and I would have to use the intercom. I would be asked some questions to determine if I was a risk or not. If not I would go in as normal and I had to make sure I used the hand sanitiser but if so, I would be seen in the car park. I'm happy with that as long as I can get my bloods done.

I’m really surprised everyone manages to get them done at GPs. Rheumatology usually ask for one within 3 days of appt here & wld have to book up weeks ahead. I’ve got one tomorrow at small local hospital/drop in as pointless having rheumatology phone consult next week without one & who knows when I’ll get one again?

Worried about going tbh tho they were lovely, said wait in car till 5 mins before, go to reception, will get you straight in & booked quiet time with no appts either side: lots of people cancelling apparently. 🙂

My understanding is that bloods will be done, how can bloods not be done as it is essential when your on medication that requires consistent review. It could be detrimental to your health continuing on your medication. I have been recalled a few times due to my inflammatory markers being too high. I cannot envisage bloods not being done.
