Call from rheumatologist

Hello everyone,

Received call from my rheumatologist this morning and been told to stop my medication immediately (I am only on sulfalazine) as my white blood cells and neutrophils are low and I will need them to fight the infection if I get the virus.

So I guess my dillema to stay on meds or not is over so are my worries about being at work as I called my manager today and told him that I won't be in until my blood gets better.

I am very happy to find this forum it helped me so much during these past few anxious weeks.

Take care of yourselves everyone and stay well! 💐

And that just demonstrates how important it is that blood levels are monitored.
