To all on here following Agedcrones fab comments- what drives me nuts is the image of the chap holding his hand up smiling.
I SO wish I could do that with my hands and I am a tad younger!

Arrgghh 🤪
Just realised neither can I, especially left, whoops 😬
Nice Hand! Wished mine looked like that, let alone have the ability to stretch it out! Hope he continues to be able to do it...but not on TV!
W ish I could.
I seem to have missed chat about Versus Arthritis. I checked their website but found nothing solid in it- what are they? Expensive advertising doesn’t inspire confidence
I supported Arthritis Research for many years. Now it has morphed into Versus Arthritis.
I received their last email newsletter and found it patronising and largely trivial and rather annoying.
I'm reserving judgement currently as I think 'Arthritis' generally needs a higher profile and it does cover all types of arthritis - Rheumatoid, Psoriatic as well as osteoarthritis.
Yes Deeb. A more honest picture would show someone who can't stretch out their arm with knarled fingers and a wrist that will not bend. I'd be so happy if I had that kind of dexterity and such a fine looking hand.
I have to admit I belong to a Versus Arthritis forum, just for the fun and friendship I get. We rarely talk about our Arthritis except to sometimes say "how are your ouchies today?
Hi poemsgalore
I have nothing wrong with any of the communities on any site as I think they are a valuable source of support for those living with OA and RD. However those projecting images of both illnesses have to be careful to make sure it reaches all with the correct message. But what works for one does not work for all too.
Thats why I love this site as its open and honest and funny.
This was the feedback from Versus Arthritis to me : Re why campaign shows maybe for those with RD/RA the wrong image of what we have to deal with.
So sorry to hear this, Deanna. We've had such a brilliant response from so many people with various conditions and hopefully you've seen how regularly we share the experiences of people living with RA across our social media accounts and in the press. We'll definitely take your feedback on board for future campaigns and we're always here if you need any support from us. Take care and thanks for taking the time to send us a message. Best wishes
I can't do that either. What is that ad. all about?
