Why do they make it bloody difficult?

Received a letter this morning saying my application for Pip tribunal was too late.

My god was I p🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 off. I had 19 days to gather my appeal together as it took over a week for the appeal information to get to me.

I had them by the b🤬🤬🤬s as I sent it by next day signed delivery. I had a signature and time and date on delivery within the time constraint. (Cost£8 postage). Would like to say this is a one off but all my applications they claimed they never got or was late and every time I catch them out.

Anyone applying for pip get proof of postage or pay the extra fir a signature.

Rant over 🤬🤬🤬🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Good for you that you got your proof , it is unaccectable that they do things like that , makes you wonder if there on some bonus scheme for how many applicants they can p**s off.

I would make a formal complaint, as they’ve either lied (which they wouldn’t admit to) or they’re incompetent. It might help to concentrate their minds in looking at your case!

I have and made them email their acknowledgment as I was on the phone with a note on my records that it was sent in time and it will continue as normal .

Good luck with your claim. I gave up in the end.

Not going to give up I’m like a dog with a bone. Just have to be 2 steps ahead so tiring.

I do apologise for repeating myself but honestly think people with PIP problems should ALL contact their MPs and complain bitterly about the treatment they receive. Disgusting.

i complained re IAS in 2017-with MP's involvement-IAS still managed to fob off -MP took it to ICE-still did not find IAS at fault.About to lodge another complaint as exactly the same lies, fake reports etc in latest HP report,Have them this time as both reports contain the same word for word MS/CNS/MSE reports plus other comments exactly the same or similar ie both saying "was observed to sort through papers"-when i did not. Both said I have no swelling or deformity in my hands but have had arthritis since 1986 and Xrays this year reconfirmed OA swelling and deformity,.

I am also going to lodge a complaint with DWP as both DM letters from 2017 and this year are also duplicates of each other -both saying "i cant award you PIP because "you can do this (every)activity uniaded.when I use aids and have stuff done for me,

The was an article in the newspaper yesterday about the massive problems people are having with PIP. I shall see if I can put a link on here for you all.

I did share the link on Twitter with the NRAS who I think are already aware of this problem.

I am no called 'Campaigner' for nothing.

I complained and got compensation of £200 from the DWP for their incompetence.

in reply toBoneyC

Hi BoneyC,did you complain direct to the DWP or ICE?

I complained about lots of discrepancies to my local Job Centre Plus, then, to the District Complaint Resolution Manager at Job Centre Plus.
