Peeling mouth
No saw GP said brush your cheeks when brushing your teeth🙄honest to God I give up. Said if was my meds see my Rheumatologist. If you’ve been reading my posts😡🤬🤯🤯🤯🤯
Not peeling, but I get blisters inside my cheeks and swelling, so I occasionally bite the inside of cheeks (accidentally I hasten to add). I think this might be due to my Sjogren's Syndrome.
I think I’m might have that I’m suffering with dry gritty eyes as well
I did wonder when I read your post. MMention it to your rheumy, and I hope you will find this website Useful. bssa.uk.net/
Thanks the more I read on it the more it looks like it is🙁🥺
Get it checked! How long have you had those symptoms?
Eyes on off for years but never problem enough to do anything about it but recently worse and with grittiness the past few weeks. Have had night sweats for years that was blamed-on the menopause or a virus by GP. Peeling of the mouth and dry mouth on and off for years but now it’s all the time. I’ve just looked up the symptoms for Sjogren syndrome and I tick most of the boxes. I’ve mentioned it to my GP but he is dismissive.
At long last have an appointment with registrar on Tuesday so may get some joy there 🤞🏻
Sorry to hear this. I never had that but my lips was dry a lot then I was told to put lip moisturizer an stop licking lips as much an that helped me. I am about 3 or 4 year's in from diagnosed with all the Rheumatoid arthritis an belive me i go through different episodes an changes in my body. I was suffering before being diagnosed but didn't no what was causing. Thank God I have some better days an just back in forthwith. I an 62 PRAY to live another year cause as i found out this disease can limit our lfe spand by 10 year's. I really don't believe that cause when it's our time that's it.
Good luck!
No white patches though? Not thrush right?
No definitely not thrush just had a check up yesterday at the dentist
When I had that problem, I upped my folic acid and it went away.
Oh boy, do I know about peeling mouth - I ended up with severe mouth ulcers as well. Dr lessened my methatrixate - and upped my Folate dose. There is not doubt that one's mouth is affected with RA. Best of luck. Sproal
