When I had new knee in Jan staples removed after 2 weeks

Staples usually come out after a couple of weeks. In terms of pain you have just had major surgery so don’t expect it to feel better so quickly. Keep doing the exercises you were given to do by the hospital and give it time x

Two weeks is about right Deejojo. Ice your knee as often as you can. It will help. Take painkillers before you attempt the exercises. It really is worth doing them. All the best.

yes, take painkillers, wait an hour at least, then you must do your exercises.

Ice does help, you can use a bag of frozen peas.

It will all settle down !

Your discharge letter should tell you when your staples are to come out
