I have few concerns but for now has anyone suffered from impacted bowels from RH? Also I had to go to hospital a week ago because my right arm side an leg was in so much pain an i couldn't hardly move. My right arm had already felt like it was sprung but of course they put it all on Fibromyalgia, they put on ivy with pain meds. I could start moving again but my right arm still feels sprained so i went to my RA doctor an got a steroid injection 5 days ago an my arm still feel twisted. Has anyone experienced this type of flare ups? It's like what's next!!! I think something else is going on. I think i need xrays or my RA is getting worse. I won't no forsure tii i go back to doctor in August or back to ER.

Check with your medics if any of the drugs you are taking cause bowel problems.

Codeine is high on that list.

Thank you. I take opids an i no that causes bowel problems. But I still don't no whats going on with my right arm. The meds not helping.

Do you have a rheumatology nurse you can speak to?

Failing that I’d go back to your GP if I were you.

Yes. I have now several pockets in my bowel. Have lower abdomen pain. They said it is age related. I have been diagnosed ra16 years ago. No one told me that it is connected with RA. Thank you for mentioning this. But l think you must talk to your Rumy consultant about your arm. See your GP first. Wishing you the best. of luck.

I have bouts of bowel problems, and my RA is worse at those times, when I can't go to the loo I am not too bad with pain but as soon as I do its like a circle

I don't know if the bowels cause the RA or the RA causes the bowel problems??

also my elbow is bent, the damage its done.
