I normally split my dosage of Methotrexate so I take 4 pills in the morning and 3 later on in the day. Unfortunately I forgot to take the last 3 pills yesterday. Just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone? I presume I'm ok to take the 3 remaining pills today?
If it's a weekly dose I would have them now you have remembered them .
If daily dose then just have the normal amount for that day.

Set a reminder on your phone ?
You should check with your specialist nurse or pharmacist to be sure especially if you are taking other medication i.e. folic acid as you should not take them on the same day.
As it is a long acting drug you could just leave out the ones you missed this week and take your normal dose next week.you are unlikely to notice a difference. You would need to go without the drug for about two weeks for full symptoms to return. If I get an infection or really bad cold I go without for a week to give my immune system a chance to get on top of the infection and then resume mtx.

Was the split recommended by your RA? I would not split the dosage. I'd experimented a while ago and just one week had impacted my liver levels in the negative. Ask your doctor and most likely they might just have you skip the dosage and pick it back up next week.
