Can anyone help me?

For over a year I have had varying pain in arms and legs and now my lower back and hips. Everything feels stiff and my back is having spasms. Fatigue is brutal although was worse when I was working. Its bloody irratating. Was at my docs few months asking for bloods thinking I was deficient they all came back good. Iron was low but nothing to worrt about she said. Back for bloods today again this time talking about all these symptoms. My daily routine is being affected. Anyone have these symptoms and have a diagnosis?

Thank you Sylvi, she mentioned sending me to a rheumatologist. Today was tough now, woke up with extreme lower back stiffness and pain that travelled up my back. Morning stiffness I always have but it lasted through the day today. Not usually the way but its very aggravating. Zaps my energy. Hopefully they will get some answers xxxx

Have you mentioned to your doctor you are thinking of rheumatoid arthritis? Did your blood tests include the Rheumatoid Factor do you know?

Unless you tell the doctor your own ideas and stress you are worried about it they are not going to get the full picture & as rheumatology is very short of consultants you won’t get a referral unless some tests prove it necessary.

So write down all your symptoms & explain how they are adversely affecting your daily routine.

Hope all goes well at today’s consult......I do hope there is another reason for your aches /pains rather than RA,

Thank you AgedCrone, she mentioned shes referring me to a rheumatologist. She took 5 different blood samples not sure why. I had perhipheral neuropathy two years ago due to neck disc issues but had treatment on it and have had no issues with neck pain. But still get this electric shock feeling and dead arm or leg feeling in arms and legs. Also last year terrible brain fog, trying to put a sentence together was hard work! Its not as bad now but thinking still very slow I feel. Right now I have stiff shoulders with what feels like muscle strains. Hopefully get some answers.

I shower every morning flexing hands etc. body always says get up prior to alarm but I must obey body otherwise hard day

I have noticed when I try to have a lie in at the weekends my body is giving out. I cant lay down straight for two long or it becomes worse.

I am a tosser and turner too got a treadmill so at least I go for walk.... now swim once a week now 30 minutes but I will always remember my first 10 minutes seemed like an hour

Hi there I have RA and have found that having a hot bath with porridge oats in helps with the inflammation , I use the foot part of a pair of tights for the oats ,( I use one of the tie things you use on food bags to seal up) the oats will make your bath water milky , if you need to destress a few drops of lavender oil in with the oats is good too , it works for me ,so just give it a try,

Have you been tested for RA ? Sounds like all the symptoms.

Yes she said she will check for this, there is family history on both sides of my family. I have history of disc injuries to the neck which caused perhiperal neurapthy but had treatment (deep kneedling) and ever since have had no issue. Dead feeling in arms and legs esp around wrists and ankles. Couple of aches and pains throughout. The fatique is so bothersome.

I sometimes refer to my pains as traveling pains. When they hit, they’re bad. Then they move elsewhere. No diagnosis.
