Hydroxy and rash maybe psoriasis

Hi guys I added hydroxy to the mix 7 months ago 8 weeks later I had a red scaly itchy kinda bubbly skin on my elbow stuck some cream on it and it went away. It came back both elbows did the same and this time my elbows are back but my left shin feels like a rash under the surface a bit rough to touch and it itches like crazy!

Sorry for the ramble so... has anybody else had rash or psoriasis come on after starting Hydroxy? Cheers M x

Update I’ve got an appointment for this afternoon for advanced practitioner nurse - I’ll let you know how it goes. M x

Yes, same when I was on it Marie, used hydrocortisone cream & went after a while but came off it for other reasons. Good luck with nurse, might be worth checking with help line x

I stopped HCQ because I developed 2 small psoriatric patches on my arms around 8 weeks after starting it. My daughter has psoriasis so I was not willing to continue with it.

I had to stop hcq after developing an eczema/psoriasis patch on the heel/sole on one foot

Thanks folks - Update nurse says not psoriasis but definitely dry skin patches so give me Hydomol cream to use and we’ll keep an eye on it. M x
