All good at the moment after struggling for the last few months.

I know most posts on here are to share each others aches and pains but I wanted to put an update on whilst the going is good! Back in Nov/Dec/Jan I was having a thoroughly miserable time. My RA was flaring badly in my hands, I had carpal tunnel on/off in both hands and wrists. My neck/arms/shoulders were painful with pins and needles and had to sleep on my back for 4 months. I was run down and shattered plus I was taking so many painkillers and lansoprazole l felt like a zombie!

I had an MRI scan on my neck - this came back no issues. I had physio sessions for a few weeks and it was suggested I may have rotator cuff problems again but I did the exercises regularly with the red band. I started MTX weekly injections 10mg plus 5mg folic acid 18 Dec. I stopped all painkillers.

I've been pain free for over a month now and can now sleep on my side again! The MTX took about 2 months to work and I'm still taking 200mg Hydroxychloroquine. I have my life back again! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Brilliant news Tia! Isn't it the best feeling when you can finally sleep comfortably. Hopefully you feel well for a long time x

Thanks Paulywoo. It really is, sleeping on my back isn't a natural position for me but I did kind of get used to it!

When MTX works it is so great. I remember that feeling - for me it was tuckimg the sheets in one day amd realising it didn't hurt! I wouldn't be without it now.
