HRT, Methotrexate and Thyroxine

Hi. I’m thinking of starting HRT to ease my menopausal symptoms but am currently on Methotrexate which keeps my RA well controlled plus Thyroxine for an under active thyroid. GP is happy to prescribe but I would like to know if anyone else is on HRT and the other drugs and how you are getting on with it i.e. side effects, easing of symptoms etc. Thanks in anticipation.

I use HRT patches and have done for a long time. Nowadays I only have a half dose and tho my doc doesn’t really approve he continues to precscribe them for me as I feel that it improves my well being and also articles suggest it does actually help with RA inflammation a bit. My BP is normal and I have regular mammograms .
