So annoying
Dear Sunflower
Oh yes I have been there
Good news is it sounds like fundamentally you are a good sleeper so you will get back there this is just a blip and you need to focus on this!
For me it’s either anxiety or pain that keeps me awake.
It’s easy to say but don’t worry about not sleeping! Otherwise it’s just awful.
I can’t tell you to relax because only you can do this, maybe after the worries you have subside!
Relaxing and not worrying = sleep !!
Not sure if I am making sense.
Pain is a different issue.
I have taken sleeping tablets but have forced myself not to rely on them. I keep them by as a means of security! That’s just me other people will have other experiences.
Baths, reading before bed definitely not screens!!!
It’s good to share a problem
All the best
Hi Sunflower sorry to hear of your sleeping woes. I myself have this problem on a regular basis with my RA and find Kalms night time help me get my sleeping patern back on track. There a natural form of sleeping aid with valerian and gentian that dont give me a groggy feeling when I wake up. Please check with your GP first tho if its ok to use them if your taking any medication.
Yep, have been like that for the last couple of nights, yawning my head off day and night but cannot sleep ! I managed this week to get some sleeping tablets from the GP, haven't tried them yet, as hubbie is away for work, he was worried in case any of the smoke alarms go off and wasn't sure if I would hear them if they did, something I hadn't even thought about. Me, I am more worried about not waking up if I need the loo in the night, and then peeing myself/bed ! What fun we have !
