Have discovered this morning, that the few games of bowling yesterday, at the request of my young grandson, are not ideal now I have RA. It has a rather unpleasant effect on the wrist. Very irritated by the situation, haven't been for years and it was fun to be with the little dude for a few hours. Will try again in a few weeks with a wrist support and see what happens. ( at this point I would have inserted a glum face emoji thing but my phone is too old)

Most bowling alleys have a bowling assist ramp that you push the ball down . It could help ??
How funny. I recently posted that I knew my new meds are working becuase I went bowling without ending up in agony! Used the lightest possible ball, and it was ok and just a bit achy the day after. Ditch DAS28 and have us play a game of bowls instead.....
Writst split could help, but weight on fingers is hard to avoid.
Did try to use the lighter balls but with my thumping great digits I was unable to get my fingers in the holes. They barely go in the holes of the extra large ball. I could very easily find myself on YouTube slithering down the alley still attached to the ball.
All I can say is if you got away with it reasonably unscathed then enjoy. I think a splint would probably be a good shout but I would get your grandson to help you it will only add to the fun and he will be so pleased if you get a good score due of course to his help.
