Arrived at Palma Mallorca yesterday had booked special assistance. They were no where to be found so i had no option but to walk. I walked very slowly taking breaks hubby and kids took care of all bags. Walking yesterday quite a long walk and totally seized up today can’t straighten right leg knee so painful left hip hurts whole body aches. Really struggled to move around in the villa . Reminder to all don’t do what I did I obviously pushed myself too far and haven’t been able to do a thing today. Hopefully will feel better tomorrow.
No special assistance at Palma Mallorca airport now p... - NRAS
No special assistance at Palma Mallorca airport now paying the price
Ooh I hope some gentle movement then a good nights sleep helps you feel better and you can enjoy your holiday. How frustrating that there was no assistance.
Thank you Norissa hope I can move tomorrow
Same thing happened to me at St Lucia on return to UK. I got left in a wheelchair on the tarmac, in the dark, with the plane doors closed and a frantic husband inside! Then the lift thing got stuck with me in it and I was left in the air. At least the plane could ‘t Go!

Palma was laid out differently the last time I flew out from there. Not sure if the above is of any use.
I flew from there on Friday. I didn’t need them but saw plenty of staff at various points.
I have not liked your post because there is nothing to like as you had to suffer because the assistance wasn't there. I hope that with a days rest you can enjoy the rest of your holiday.xxx
Well that's cack! Have you made a complaint?
So sorry you are suffering due to the ineptitude of others . 😤
Thank you I will definitely say something when I’m back at Palma to fly home
That’s dreadful - I would definitely complain, but in writing/email, otherwise it doesn’t get to the management. Letting down people who need this assistance is inexcusable, and I have recently been looking at means of campaigning about the poor standard of this service after the incompetence of the SA staff at Heathrow T5 recently caused my 87 y/o mother and I to miss our flight home. Something for an ‘off topic’ post me thinks!
Hope you feel better soon and are able to enjoy your break.
Rest up for rest of today, take it easy tomorrow, take some pain relief, sit and read a book on a chair or lounger
So sorry. Hope you have something to help you through. I need to take prednisone for a few days to get through when I have a flare like that. I suffered two days last time I overdid it. I tred more carefully now.
