Waiting for an appointment but letter from GP was never sent.

Hi all a a while ago.maybe march.i had an xray on my spine. results came back and GP said results show a great degenerative.. deteriation in my lower spine and she would write to the . Muscularskelital team .i went to my GP 2 weeks ago because .i am in so much pain with my back and leg .they couldn.t find the letter but pretended to.lucky i did .i was sent an appointment for yesterday. The doctor confirmed no letter was sent .so good job i went back.

after alot of prodding she wants an mra scan. Before deciding what to do.

Other appointment yesterday to see doctor about low bloods which have been for a while.said it might be pernicious anemea start b12 injections today .phew what a day.rest today.

That sounds extremely painful for you both. It’s a good job you went back to your GP.. I could go on about the failings of GP’s, consultants and hospitals from first hand experience but I won’t because I also have had some great care mainly from nurses. Hopefully you’re on track now to bring sorted. Enjoy the grand kids. 💕

Thanx lovely.yes i.ve had mostly good care.you get to see alot of doctors .but my own doctor is lovely and has a soothing way about him .thanx agaun kathy x

I'm so sorry this has happened to you. It sounds just like my experience at the beginning of my RD journey. Couldn't you just spit? I'm truly glad you've now got progression in your care and treatment. Wishing you well
