You are not alone VeronicaF. Mine is even worse and have been living with it over a year now. I got a noddle develop behind it, between the joint that controls range of motion, so painful and hard to bend or straighten it. It is hurts a so bad. Please get treament asap. Quick recovery.

thanks jepmoo, what are they doing with yours? I did go to A&E and had xray but they couldn't see it broken

it happened when-

it got stiff and stuck and I try to straighten it,then heard crunch and had the worse pain, ever since can't get it right and it hurts if its moved in a way

its right arm so impossible to not use it and if I didn't it gets to stiff

I think they are going to put a steroid injection in it next week?

For me, there is nothing to I did to help as I had a very bad rheumy who only cared about the amount of drugs I was taking. So I hv been trying slight stretching exercises with the hope that they can help. Am now on biologics with mtx. Am feeling a bit of relief plus I do bikram yoga at a minimum of 3 days a week. Let me know if the injection will help I ask my new rheumy too.

they did say a course of antibiotics might help too in that arm??? I think that's what she said on the phone, yours is bad how you were treated

I found it hard in A and E because they wasn't going to xray it as I hadn't knocked it or had a fall, so it was hard to get them to even look at it

My right elbow looked like I had broken it and it would lock up on me. I had surgery to remove pieces of bone that broken off and they discovered that the RA has eaten up all of the cartilage in my elbow.
