I have had problems with my elbow for going on 3 weeks, it got stiff and I straighten it and since then its not right, very painful and I can't turn it right
I went to A & E last week and they done an xray and said I hadn't broken it, but its still causing me problems
I am using it as its my right arm, I have to, also the more I rest it, it gets stiff then it hurts to move it, its annoying
at night I don't know what to do with it

I don’t think there’s anything worse than elbows n shoulders: you don’t realise how much you use them. 3 weeks is a long time: can you ring advice line/get steroid shot in it or something? Hope it eases soon x
I had bad elbow pain a few years ago I would wake up and find them very stiff and swollen and be unable to touch my shoulders. My rheumatologist did steroid injections into both and it sorted it out quite quickly.
I rang the 48 hour help line and left a message, I will wait for them to get back to me, I have a wrist strap on at the moment that's helping give that arm support
they got back to me, they are sending a blood test to be done in post, then have it done and then ring after couple of days and they will arrange to see me
they had already noted I been to A and E over my arm
and they talked about doing a steroid in jection when I see them
