Tried, not convinced it made any difference for me. However everyone reacts differently.

I’m using CBD oil with awesome results. It took about 6 months of taking consistently and also making other changes like diet, that I noticed the biggest difference. I also continued to increase my dose until I got the results I was looking for. I still have some down days but that’s understandable considering the illness. Otherwise I have been out of a wheelchair and without my walker for months, my sleep is improved my digestion settled, headaches are under control, my inflammation is nil to minimal. Pain significantly reduced. If you want some resources to read up more just let me know.

Yes I've heard fantastic results on the proper stuff I've read about a man who gives it free just to prove it works and I know it down to the individual to calculate the amount slowly until desired affect and it doesn't matter what other meds your on you can stop them yourself if an when I keep thinking abt trying it's just getting it right

Hi, thanks for your response. Are you on other meds for RA? I’ve tried all the dmards and I can’t tolerate them. My rheumatologist has more or less told me that there’s nothing more she can do for me if I’m not prepared to take them. Feeling a bit lost 😳

Hi I work for a Rhematologist and there are ways of handling your condition by trying different combinations of drugs and DMARDS so keep pushing for a resolution. Also some people find injections work better for them such as methotrexate rather than take tablets, which can cause stomach upsets. Have you tried any if the biologic such as etanacept, benepali? Good luck and do not give up. Best wishes

I was told yesterday that I don’t qualify for any other treatment, that’s why I feel so crap. I was made to feel like a neurotic nuisance.

Hi, I’ve just reread your reply. Where are you living? Where is it best to get cannabis oil and how much do you take etc? Any info gratefully received! 😊

It's trial and error. Both Bud Utopia and CBD Brothers are great. Really helpful, but it is finding that sweet spot.

I would add Cheds to that list. Would also recommend CBD Consumers UK/EU Facebook group as there is lots of advice on there about which type, how much, timings etc. Incidentally I am under several consultants for various conditions and every one of them has ok’d it.

Hi I asked my GP about this yesterday, and he said if you can source it try it as I have tried almost every thing on the market but I do not want to take every day only when I get a flare the hospital has just put my mtx up to a higher dose I think I will wait to see how that goes I think I and one of the lucky ones I am not in pain all the time only with a flare then I would be grateful if someone cut my hands off I can cope with the aching, IN the future I might try x

It's one of those things that does need t be taken daily to get any result. Can't just dip in and out of it really

The trouble with the legal CBD oil is it's not regulated, so it's pot luck if you buy decent stuff or junk, and it's not exactly cheap is it! Even if you do manage to find the so called good stuff, I'm convinced that the illegal CBD with THC in it would be more effective as pain relief. I've tried two brands of legal CBD oil and neither worked for me, but if the government ever decides to make properly controlled medicinal CBD with THC available, then I'd probably give it a go. Hopefully it could get me off tramadol, which I need, but suspect am addicted to.

I am in the U.S. and do have a medical marijuana card, for my RA. I do have access to a marijuana-based CBD oil and have been using it everyday since about early July. I've noticed a marked improvement in my RA pain and swelling, but I also injured my back and have been resting more and popping more Advil, so, the jury is still out as to whether it's connected to that or not! Finding how much to take is sort of a weird process. I have no idea if I'm "taking enough" or not! There's no psychotropic effects with the CBD marijuana oil at all.... I do find I may get a little sleepy if I take more than I'm used to. But that's it!

I have a lot of drug allergies so it has been very helpful for me. It is a great anti inflammatory and I also use THC vape pen for pain. This is legal when prescribed but soon without script in Canada.
