I’m getting my first job. I’m going to try for a job not in a restaurant because that would probably kill me on my first day plus a job at like a grocery store/thrift store/ dollar store would probably allow me to sit a bit more often when I really need to. When I get my first paycheck though I’ll probably invest in braces for my other knee and elbows cause chances are I’ll have to do a lot of heavy lifting and have tons of flare ups until my body gets used to it. I’m going shopping and job hunting tomorrow with my mom. I’m kinda hoping to be able to apply in person cause this online application stuff is super complicated in my opinion and I just kinda hate it. Also. I finally got moved after several months of being told “any day now” and I’m actually really happy with where we are right now. We are in my birth state just a driving distance from my birth town. Which means I also have a friend here! The only person in this state that remembers July existence because we moved away when I was really young.

That is big new news Cortney! You sound so up! The independence will be good for you, just make sure you'll be able to rest when you need to, even if it's just sitting a while. I hope you'll be able to find a support group too, having the shared support & understanding will go a long way as well as reconnecting with your friend. Don't get into any scrapes the two of you!
