Baricitinib and Methotrexate

Hello everyone, I’ve not posted for sometime but just wondering if anybody here is on a combo of Baricitinib and Methotrexate. I’ve just started this combo yesterday and would love to hear from anybody who is on this and how they are doing.

There's a few of us on baricitinib. I take it with hydroxy. Not sure what combo other folks are on, but can't recall anyone mentioning mtx.

Thanks for feedback, don’t think there are an awful lot of people on Baricitinib yet. I’ve been taking it on it’s own since March but it wasn’t enough. Hence the Metho into the mix.

I'm only taking 2mg daily due to side effects. Can't say it's performed wonders for me by any means, but it is helping some, for which I'm grateful.

Hope the baric/mtx combo does the trick for you.

Application for funding for Baracitinib has just been submitted. OH on Salfa and 20 mg Mtx inj. Slain by Mtx even with max Folic Acid. Told he will need to continue Mtx for 6 months overlap to see if new drug works. Lets be hoping its a reducing dose. So its W.A.S for him as to whether it happens. Hope it works for you.

Hope your OH gets the funding and hope it works well for him. Dreading the Metho side effects when they kick in!

Hi. Have you had Mtx before? Maybe you will be one of the many who get used to it and don't have troublesome side effects. I hope thats the case for you and the combo works well.

I had the tablet form back in 2011...horrendous side effects. Hoping injecting won’t be as bad. Thanks.
