Need Info on Prolia/Medicare

Could anyone in the US tell me if you know if Medicare B or D will pay for Prolia injections and how much they will pay.

I have Medicare and AARP and Prolio was covered 100%. Call Medicare and your supplementary insurance to determine coverage. You should be OK. Prolio must be really strong stuff. I had 10% increase in scores after the shot. Getting next injection in Oct. It wasn’t approved by FDC until June for use with steroids so I had Reclast last year.

Thanks, am going to call. I like you have AARP supplement but a couple years ago I called and the lady said they would only pay like half so I don't know if she just told me wrong or things have changed...thanks so much though because I am at the point I know I need the Prolia..thanks again

I will let you know if I also can get the Prolia at no cost to me. Did you have to call both Medicare and your AARP supplement? I am supposing it is cover under Medicare Part B?

My Dr. submitted paperwork for me so it was magically covered.
