Summer Heat

How's everyone coping with this extreme heat? I am just so hot, wet and sticky, and so tired. My joints seem stiffer than ever. No matter how much water I drink. Any tips?

It’s exhausting isn’t it, cooler today thank goodness 😅. I try to keep out of direct sunlight when the heats been extreme

Yes it is tiring and also I've taken my last Benepali injection last week as I'm waiting to start Humira but it will be a few weeks before it's delivered and then the nurse comes

My joints seem easier in this weather, I keep cool wearing light clothing and have the fan on most of the day. Drink water at room temperature or as hot as you would drink a cup of tea, it will hydrate you quicker and quench your thirst. Drinking it cold can be dangerous it can send your stomach into shock and give you brain freeze, and won’t take away your thirst as your internal organs are having to deal with trying to keep your body temperature where it should be. Also hot water is good for your skin. And sip don’t glug it down.

Sorry you suffering in heat, I also am very wet and tired but joints good at the moment, sick of being wet through though.

Can I ask another question of the community? I'm about to start metoject. Just wondered what other people's experience of this was.
