Hi, not sure if im in the right place for this but perhaps i can be re directed if not.

I have Psoriatic Arthritis, diagnosed March 2017. I was in Methotrexate but came off as blood tests showerd liver and white cell count not right. Was put on Sulfasalazine (was reluctant to start another med so have only been on it 3 weeks). In the last few days i have a rash developing on my thighs and lower legs and a little on my upper arms. It does look like prickly heat rash but i never suffer with this (i know its hot atm here but we were in the Caribbean 2 months ago and no problem). Does anyone know if this looks like the start of an allergic reaction rash? Will probably chat with nurse in a week or so if it hasnt gone. Thanks in advance!

Hi, just a quick one, I'm off to work!!. I'm on sulfasalazine and it works a treat for me but a pal of mine is on it and he has a rash as well. It appears that this medication can make you very sensitive to the sun, just thinking it could be that..

Have a look into it

Good luck!!

Thank you, I wonder if the heat/sun isn't helping then. Will look into that, thanks for reply.

A lot of the medication we now have to take, makes us sensitive to the sun. You will now have to cover up, but just in case get it checked out.
