I was diagnosed with genetic Haemochromatosis yesterday, along with already diagnosed inflammatory arthritis, hyper mobility, degenerative disc disease etc. Does anyone else have Haemochromatosis and inflammatory arthritis and has it affected there treatment plan and condition? Xx🐾

Hi Bessieboo1,
I don’t but have a friend who copes with it. She has regular taking away a pint of blood to decrease iron levels.
And she uses CBD oil for pain.
I also have a friend with it. She's quite naughty at eating and drinking stuff she shouldn't. She's s heavy wine drinker too.
Have they told you about not drinking orange juice and certain foods?
Friends also gets blood taken.

My GP has referred me to haematology so not seen anyone as yet. My breakfast cereal is my favourite meal of the day so would be gutted not to be able to eat it😟.
