Where Do you live? In the UK you can find the address of local GP's in the Post Office, or on line.

But I am guessing you are not in UK ?

Why don't you call your local public Hospital....they will be able to advise you what is available ...I am presuming you don't have insurance as you haven't been able to get any treatment for 3 years?

I'm so sorry I can't give you any more helpful advice .

Hi, Reba - I live in the states and unfortunately we do not have universal healthcare like the UK - but there are resources available. Do you have any medical insurance? Have you been seeing your GP about your condition? Is he/she unwilling to refer you to a specialist, or can you not find one? The drug companies that make RA drugs have programs to help with their cost. Not knowing more about your situation, I can't offer much advice, but there should be some way you can get some help. It is really quite awful to feel you have to live with such pain; I hope you can get some help.

You need to see a specialist to get on disability. I work in healthcare... if you do not have insurance then call your medical center (hospital) and find one that has a clinic or apply for Charity Care. the ONLY thing I can suggest for you since you are not on any medication is to do the following: TUMERIC 500 MG 2x a day and must take with black pepper (unless the supplement has the black pepper in it) You can buy a bottle of peppercorns (used in pepper grinders) and swallow 1 of those every time you take tumeric. The black pepper helps the tumeric get absorbed. Take OMEGA 3 fish oil - if you look @ the labels at the vitamin store, look at the back - you may see 300 mg. of Omega 3 but you want much more than that so you can purchase on Amazon: Pharmax Fish Oil & you will see the label has 1,975 mg. of Omega 3. Get Boswella 500 mg from the vitamin store - do not take it at the same time as the Tumeric. Eat organic, avoid RED meat, avoid Shellfish, Soy, Gluten. If you know nothing about Gluten, then go to the library or online & become familiar with what has gluten Here is a short summary.. MOST items can be found GLUTEN FREE (GF) & if they are, they will be labeled but here you go as a summary of most popular items that contain gluten: Bread, breadcrumbs, flour, most Grains, whole wheat (any wheat), barley, chocolate has wheat starch but Dark Chocolate should be ok, cereal, Beer, Soy sauce, most condiments. It is a lifestyle change but worth it. Another thing you can do is purchase CBD oil to ingest and also CBD salve or cream to put on your swollen joint. Yes - the cannibus plant which these products should be available at any health food store depending on where you life or go online. I hope this helps you. I see a Naturopathic Dr and also a Functional Medicine MD as well as a Rheumatologist. So far, I have been able to avoid ALL of the RA drugs with some occasionally mild flareups. I was told by an older RA Dr to monitor what I eat and be aware of my reactions.

So with that said... you SHOULD DO A LIQUID FAST for 3 days if you can. DRINK BONE BROTH (you can make your own - recipes are online Michael Symon renowned cook has one) Or you can purchase Bone Broth in most stores at $4.99 minimum . I make my own and will drink only water, fresh extracted juice and bone broth for 3 days to calm my entire system down. If I am starving, I will ONLY eat organic vegetables (salad, broccoli, cauliflower, etc). But I write down what I eat and especially after a flare up so I can determine which food I'm sensitive to. You MUST AVOID NIGHTSHADE : White potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers for starters. THIS IS A LOT TO DIGEST, SO IF YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE WHAT I'VE SHARED and implement it, then you may be able to calm down the inflammation you are experiencing. Good luck.
