Funny day today hands not working properly also fuzzy head brain not in gear ! and croakey voice. Haven't got a cold so not that. Anybody else had this very strange had ra for 4 years not experienced this before! Maybe just losing it!!

My fuzzy head has been helped a lot by MTX - but I still get the croaky voice. No rhymn nor reason to it, here one day gone the next.

Yes croaky voice, foggy head... all side effects from Mxt I think. Not sure it’s actually the RA.

It is possible to get problems with your vocal cords from Rheumatoid Disease which can affect your voice. But I guess the methotrexate might cause the fuzzy head... I certainly remember having brain fog with it!

My voice is croaky nearly all the time and I have to keep clearing my throat. It is so embarrassing when talking to people and especially when on the phone and it starts up like that. I love singing and people said I had a good singing voice, but now, I can't seem to do that because after a couple of minutes my voice gives way and croaks. I was once sent to the ENT dept about it and had a tube put up my nose and down my throat to see if there was a problem (apparently the doctor thought it might be cancer and sent me on the two week wait list), but thankfully there was nothing to worry about.

I was told it would help to get a facial spa and sit over that for a few minutes every day to let plenty of steam get down my throat. It does help a bit so it might be worth you trying that.

Yes, I have these symptoms plus a dry mouth and itchy eyes. I think it is sjogrens disease associated with RA
