I found out today what I thought was kidney stone pain was appendiculitis. Some sort of infection on some little fat thing on the outside of the bowel. Never heard of it and I can't find any info online. Anyone had this? My GP said probably caused by vascular disease which seems to be a part of my delightful journey with disease.

I know right? Massive dose of antibiotics 4 times a day for a week and hopefully it will take care of it. Hope my stomach can handle it. The pain is excruciating and why I thought kidney stones again. I can't find anything on the internet and he did say it's rare to get it, but hey it's me we're talking about. Hahahaha
It's amazing the weird infections we pick up with this disease, I've had a few chest infections and the last one at Christmas needed 2 lots of antibiotics to clear it, plus I had a blood clot in the groin and had to get my gallbladder out last July which I ended up with sepsis and an ecoli bug which put me in hospital for 17 days, that's the joys off RA, hope your infection clears up soon xxx
I know. I have had the weirdest things go wrong since I have had this and been on treatment. I have had some really nasty chest infections in the past 12 months and am now a chronic asthmatic.
I hope you are feeling OK and not having anything go wrong now. I hadn't seen the GP for about a month or so and was feeling quite happy about that. Serves me right. hahahahah
Pain like passing kidney stones, cramping sort of pain in my lower left side of my abdomen, nausea and the pain went around to my back as well. I got home from work on Monday and got chills and shivers so knew it was some sort of infection. I don't get temps I get chills, weird person that I am.
A CT showed exactly what was going on with me, but my GP is very much on the ball. I am going to cry if he retires as I have no idea how I will find another Dr with such broad ranging knowledge of the weir and wonderful. I guess he has come to expect that from me and I may just be giving him a lot of experience in that field. hahahah I have to go back to work today as I need all my leave for a neck op coming up next month.
