Strange Pains

Hi all hope you are all well just a little strange question has any body had a pain on top of there head not a headache but sore to touch going into the ear

Yes, I get a lot of tender sore spots on my head since the RA. I understand this is part of it, tho I can't imagine how or why it should be!

Hi there. I was diagnosed with occipital ( sp?) neuralgia a few months before RA after months of what you describe . It started suddenly with intense pain at the top of my head then settled into pain on touching and it radiates on one side of my head only. It does seem to go hand in hand I am afraid. I am not expecting it to get better. Good days and bad days. Google it and see if that's what it sounds like. Good luck.

I have pain behind the ears and sometimes at the base of my skull which is tender to touch that has been diagnosed as enthesitis.

Sounds similar to mine except pain is in my ear .

Yes, I get these odd pains on top of my head. It moves about a bit and it sort of comes and goes in waves. I have had it before and usually lasts about a week before it goes completely

Hi there Iv looked into it and not realy found anything it says could be apart of RA but not totally convinced pain in ear that I get is normally linked to shingles which I get about 2-3 times a year with a headache just above my eye never on the head I willask my rheumy on my next appointment
