Steroid injections in index fingers...............

Been to rheumaltology this lunchtime and ended up with two steroid injections in my index fingers as they have been so painful. He will be upping my mtx to 20mg after i have seen the nurse next time which is in four weeks time. He will be looking at my meds and maybe a change we will see. He is sending me for some more hand therapy so at least i will get some new gloves out of it. Then went to meet hubby who had been to a funeral of a army friend of his who had died and blow me down when we got home our son rang to ask if his dad could go and fetch him to take him to a&e re; chest pains. This he has duly done now he will have to turn out to pick our daughter up to go shopping . Poor man it has never ends with our kids running them here there and everywhere. Only just over a week until we go away and we can't wait.xxxx

Thank you kind people for your lovely comments. My son has pulled his chest muscles and he got home well after 8pm and they had pizza for their tea and i think it was bed for them.

Me well i don't know if these injections work or not,i think they feel easier, but having never had them in my fingers i don't know if they have helped or not as i don't know how i am supposed to feel. Seeing as i have more than one health problem going on i can never tell.xxxx

Oh Sylvi, it never lets up for you does it? I sincerely hope the injections ease things for your poor fingers, that your son recovers from the pulled muscles and the fright they gave you all. I hope you are going somewhere truly lovely for your holiday and that you have a wonderful time. Hugs

Gnarli we are oing to Polperro/Looe in Cornwall. I am suffering all the after affects from yesterday to be sure. I don't know if the injections have made much difference what with all the other stuff going on in my body.xxxx

When I've had injections into my fingers it started off hurting more, but after a day or two it was wonderful - no pain at all. So hope works the same for you.
