Definitely, slept 10+ hours a day! It does get better Darnell as drugs kick in, honestly, first 4/5 months worse for me. Good luck

Are you anaemic. Many of us sufferers of RA have been anaemic and Iwas very drowsy at work. The nurse explained it as a "normal" effect of the anaemia. It improved immediately when the anaemia resolved after I started Humira.

Yes, extreme fatigue/tiredness was a big problem for me and something that has remained over the years albeit in a much milder format.

Yes, sleepiness is a feature for many with RA, it does get better as the treatment kicks in.

Same for me slept 3/4 of the 24hour period, but as said it does get less with treatment. However I still get very tired. So take heart things should improve for you with time. Take care.

Absolutely, it was one of the first things I noticed when it all started... I couldn't help it, I fall asleep every time. Now with the medication, I'm sleeping fewer hours though I still have a lot of fatigue and get tired very easily (I need to rest during the afternoon)... Still improving, little by little. Hope it all goes well for you!!

I was in great pain hence could not sleep at night therefore very sleepy during the day. I was lucky that my boss was okay for me to sleep during office hours in the office.

Yes I'm cream crackered all the time. However, when I go to bed I don't sleep! Go figure!

Yes, before I started taking the meds & before they kicked in I had never been so tired in all my life. I went from having a full time job four children an unpaying lodger (don’t ask 🙄) husband big house & two dogs & a very hectic but happy social life to RD & not being up to any of it. It does get better but I now have to pace myself. When I think back though I’d feel tired but I could pick myself up but when your tired through RD there really nothing you can do it goes beyond tiredness which friends/family don’t really get it do they.

I am constantly tired no fatigued is a better word. I am fighting of sleeping at the moment as I’m sure I would fall asleep if I was just watching television. I’m finding by 11am I have to constantly get up and walk around or I’m likely to doze off at my desk. It is starting to get me down now and affect my work. Does the fatigue ever go 🤷‍♀️
