Anyone awake: I have been up all night off on a cruise... - NRAS
Anyone awake
I'm awake, as it is only 10:30 pm in western Canada. How awful to have a loose tooth, but I'm sure the dentist can help you.
A cruise, how exciting!! Where are you cruising too?
Caribbean cruise hubby retired so always planned to do it then but things not going to plan have had family staying over Christmas and we all have coughs and colds the final straw was the tooth not even started packing yet thanks for your reply
I'm awake... Hope your dentist can help and has a way of temporarily fixing your tooth till you get back.
Yes enjoy your cruise, we are off to the canaries in 2 weeks can't wait to get the sun on my back, chocked with the cold as well
Hope you enjoy the Canaries what one are you going to
I'm going to Ferteventura for a week looking forward to the break
I am sorry you are feeling rough. I hope that the dentist sorted you.
Yes he did a temporary job scared to eat anything worried that it falls out
If the tooth is loose, it might need to come out. He can put in a temporary one till you get back. If you are in the UK, beware that dentistry really is a rip off. Dependent on where your cruise stops, there are numerous places in the world where dentistry is so much cheaper - eg Eastern Europe, Turkey, India/Goa to name but a few places. But even all over Europe it is cheaper. The problem with a cruise though is that you are only in each port usually for one day - if you are in for longer, do your homework on the internet and suss out the dentists. There must be nowhere in the world apart from the UK where you have to wait a month for a crown to be made, as I did, despite the rip off prices. You can get an implant done in Eastern Europe for £1,000 and probably half that in India (taking only a couple of days) whereas in the UK it would be £2,500+ and take weeks on end.
