Poorly feet

OK. So still not got my biologics. They take so long to get organised. Still suffering. Its my feet. I am hoping some of you may be able to give me advice to help. They feel like they are constantly swollen and burning. I cool them down and it helps for a little while. Then they get pain. Awful pains across the balls of my feet. It wakes me up when I am trying to rest and hurts all day long. Any ideas welcomed. Thanks

Have you tried wax baths? And always put them up whenever you can.

When my feet were bad last year I could only wear sketchers memory foam shoes. Managed to get some sandals as well as the the lace up deck shoes so I could still wear skirts. They were my best friends and got me through ! Hope that helps.

Oh but that's lousy. My feet are a proper pain in the pinny too. I wear Birkenstocks, even their slippers, as most other shoes hurt. I was fortunate enough to get hold of a lot of Hotter shoes cheaply (which are good but rather 'old lady-ish') and will take my insoles. It kinda adds insult to injury when you hurt so much and feel frumpy as well. Sympathies

I think it's a common theme with the feet as we all seem to have problems, my feet and hands are the biggest problems I'm getting at the moment, and they don't include your feet in the DAS28 a bit stupid if I say so, as we need our feet for walking

I couldn't agree with you more. Like you, it's my feet and hands that's worst effected and it makes life difficult. I did ask why the feet weren't scored for DAS28 and was just told "they're just not". Helpful

You have a lot of useful advice given, however do you wear hospital shoes as they build the arch support all in. I had mine reheeled for work as they were so comfy. I now need a new pair as they're falling apart. Yes you are restricted with regard to style and fashion but I put comfort first every time. I'm allowed 2 pairs for the year.
