Back to back mouth ulcer is an another problem, is anybody have fast remedy for mouth ulcer and lip swelling?

Hi there , im afraid there is no quick cure for mouth ulcers . Rinsing with warm salt water and cider vinegar can be soothing, also manuka honey on the ulcers can help .

It sounds as though you're not very well controlled Manoj. Can you see your Rheumatologist for a review?

Mouth ulcers are a common symptom of taking methotrexate, often helped by increasing the amount of folic acid you take. Are you taking MTX & supplementing with folic acid? I'm not sure about lip swelling though. Rinsing with a warm salt water wash can help ease mouth ulcers but again you really need to see your Rheumy.

Agreed salt water - I had this when on mtx now on a biologic. Found it hard to tolerate mtx to be honest.

Take folic acid everyday, rinse out your mouth and report to your docyor

Definitely try adding folic acid. 1mg twice per day solved my mouth problems.

Daily folic acid got rid of mine but check with your Doctor - keeping your mouth very clean - brushing 3 - 4 times a day and using a mouth wash What is 10th class ? xx

Hi I picked up a magazine from my rumatology clinic and and you can get a copy off this web sight as it written by them, I just wish they handed them out in clinic my nurse gave me her copy but it tells you everything about ra symptoms and very easy to read well worth sending to nras for one .

Hi Manoj7 I'm on metoject every week and just been raised to 20mgs,mouth ulcers are a pain and also scalp lesions ,very painful ,I use bicarbonate of soda in warm water three times a day to gargle in mouth and as I have dentures I can't wear from time to time so can't get out its such a pain but this does help ,hope this helps 😊
