Knee Problem
I’ve experienced this but in calf and thigh. It’s like cold water trickling down. It’s such a strange feeling 🤔. Was going to tell rheumy nurse at next appointment.
I’m not a doctor by any means but if I was guessing then I would say it’s nerve or muscle related. I wouldn’t think it was anything to worry about but definitely bring it up with your GP/rheumy. Funny enough I get the opposite and I get this weird warm/hot feeling in my legs or my arms and hands, at first I thought it was like when you get really cold and you go into somewhere warm but it happens if I have been indoors all day in the warm. Just figure it’s something to do with the RA.
That’s interesting as my knees are always weirdly cold, they hurt and when I touch them, they’re cold even though the rest of my body is warm. Strange! I often need a heat pad on them when sitting. I’m sure it’s just part of RA! Xx
I wonder if this is a seasonal thing as for the last few weeks, during the evenings my knees get very cold usually when I have been sitting a while. mine don't hurt but I was wondering if it is a symptom of RA.
I've got PA but I've sometimes felt I've got cold metal in my thighs, really odd. The metaphor of cold water as mmb50 said is better though! I'll mention it to my consultant when I go next, but then I also get burning sensations in my wrists and hands as well, so I dunno... all a bit weird - meds side effects?
