Hi I was diagnosed with RA 25 years ago and scleroderma 21 years ago. I have been on methotrexate off an on over the years and am currently taking it again. I would like to get a tattoo, has anybody got a tattoo while taking immunosuppressive drugs.

Hi I was booked in to get my tattoo finished but my consultant said I can't with taking MTX . Not sure if it applies to everyone though .
I am on mtx too but have no tattoos. I would contact your rheumatology team for advice.

Hi yes I did and it healed perfectly. Just been back last week to get it finished.
Did you end up getting the tattoo? I’m really curious as I am on methotrexate and was also thinking of getting one
