Hi I wonder if anyone can give me some advice or experienced the same please ? I take 10mg injection MTX , folic acid , naproxen, zapain . For the last two weeks I've experienced my throats feeling like it's closed up on one side and I struggle to get my breath . It's not sore but very frightening experience. If I tip my head back it eases . Any ideas ? Also feels ver dry all the time .

I should mention this to your consultant as soon as possible. I'm not a doctor, nor am I able to diagnose. But there is a condition called Sjogren's Syndrome, that can be connected to Rheumatoid Arthritis. You can learn all about it here. bssa.uk.net/about.asp I have it, and some of your symptoms (dryness) sound similar. But your consultant will determine.

Thankyou Ajay .... just loads of problems ATM . I hate taking MTX it's awful , even my hair started to fall out quite a bit now . I'm with consultant on Monday I think I will see if I can be taken off it as too many side effects . Thankyou .
It's an awful illness to have and so painful. I'm always a get up n go person but this is taking hold of me in so many ways . But i won't let it beat me so onwards and upwards. Thankyou for your reply ... much appreciated
