NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 8th January 2018
Chesterfield NRAS Group
2018 group meetings are held at Bridge Street Methodist Church, (also known as Pilsley Methodist Church) Bridge Street, Pilsley, Chesterfield, S45 8HE on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-8:00pm.
9th January - Cuppa and a catch up! (This meeting will be on the second Tuesday, instead of the first).
Great Yarmouth NRAS Group
The Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group meet in the ‘Buzz Room’ of the Louise Hamilton Centre, James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 6LA from 5:30pm-7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month.
9th January - Bridget Wharton is coming to talk to us about the benefits of Pilates followed by a session of Chair Pilates
Oxford NRAS Group
Meetings are held in the lecture theatre at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford OX3 7LD on Tuesdays every other month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Look for the NRAS directional signs to the room.
9th January – Kayleen Coutts, RA Ad. Nurse Practitioner, will present: 'The New Look Patient Helpline & Coping with a Flare'
Mid Cornwall NRAS Group
The Mid Cornwall NRAS group - PIRATES (people involved in RA training, education and support) meet at Carnon Downs Village Hall, Tregye Road, Carnon Downs, Truro TR3 6GH every other month on a Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
10th January - Guest speaker: Mr Andrew Pothecary, Rheumatology Specialist Pharmacist will give a talk on blood tests and new drug developments
Plymouth NRAS Group
Phil and Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group Support). The group meet monthly in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 12-2pm.

Gwent NRAS Group
Meetings will be held on the second Saturday of alternate months at Caerphilly Library, The Tywn, Caerphilly, CF83 1JL from 9:30am - 12:30pm.
January 13th - Rheumatology Nurse Tracy Baker will be coming to talk about her role in the monitoring clinic and answer questions from the group
You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
