When I was younger and before menopause I used to have pain in the cylcle of my period. my gp put me on hrt to try and even it out but I was allergic to progesterone it exacerbated my RA and oestrogen gave me severe migrain so couldn't take that either. This is one of the reasons I kept a diary and why I would recommend it to anyone else, it helps your rheumy to diagnose you and helps you pinpoint your bad days so you can prepare for them.
