Well I've had the best three days of the year with my little family of 4 of us even though we have family dotted all over the uk they all decided that when I moved to Stoke on Trent 16 years ago that they wouldn't bother with me again I am upset as since then I've lost my mum and as u know from previous post my mum was all family and Christmas but you know what I have a fantastic partner and two amazing Kids and it's there same loss if they don't want to be part of that cos we ok by our selve around genuine people not fake people and over the years I've come to relize just how many family and friend are really FAKE love my little family so much xx

Then you sound like a very lucky woman. It’s lively to hear you’ve enjoyed Christmas with the love of your little unit - you sound like a close, loving family and that’s worth it’s weight in gold!

Take care of one another

That's so good to hear you and your family enjoyed the holiday together. All too often there are tales of rows and ill-feeling, things we can all do without. Wishing you all the very best

That so rings a bell with me. If you mean anything g to your family they will find a way to visit. My son has just moved to Wales with the g/children so Christmas was just the 2 of us. I have actually managed to drive myself there twice already on my own. That's quite an achievement as i'm not very confident. I agree with you - be around genuine people. I have no time for all the fake ones. Happy New Year to the 4 of you. Take care xxxx

Wonderful! You can't worry about why family have gone weird. I've been there last year and a couple of years before and I did nothing wrong. Just continue to enjoy as you have been doing and they'll come round to getting in touch if they want to .. Then that's up to you. xx
