Been in agony for well over a week. Thought it was just me, everybody thinks it’s great having snow. I just want summer to come NOW 😄😄😄

No, not me thanks. My grandmother who suffered RA from age about 25 until she died at 87, always said it was worse in hot weather. I think that was because RA being inflammatory causes heat in the joints so getting hot aggravates that. The stiffness caused by the wear and tear in osteoarthritis being non-inflammatory does get worse in the cold I believe

I don't like the cold at all. I always feel worse in the cold. I think I feel so cold because of circulation problems, it's a think you learn to live with. Also i think you can feel bad when cold due to low mood, it certainly does not help. You are not alone Annie122 .

I think I get worse with either extreme. I reckon heat is worse for squishy bits like skin and muscle and cold is worse for bones. Both sap energy like nobody's business.

I think I just have one golden month then the rest of the year is some level of suffering.

Get all the warm things and make yourself a nest. That's my plan. I'll see you all in a few months when my hibernation is over.

I most definitely do- it physically hurts!
